I usually ‘store’ up the books I have read for at least two weeks or maybe a month and then write reviews. I find that I sometimes forget about what the books were about. (Maybe that in and of itself is saying that they did not make a great impression or maybe it’s just that I am getting old)….whatever the case, I like to clear the books I have read off my Kindle and so decided to write reviews as time permits.
I do plan to visit the library as soon as I am able! I have good days and bad days recovering from diverticulitis and sometimes it’s too much of an effort to go Anywhere, but I can’t wait to get my hands on ‘real books’!!
Here are the books read in the past few days:
Stardust (Peaches Monroe, Book 1) by MiMi Strong – Cute romance but I won’t be buying the sequels.
If you like light romance with a little humor thrown in, this is a good read.
————————————————————————–A Murder in Mount Moriah: Lindsay Harding Mystery Series- (Reverend Lindsay Harding by Mindy Quigley—Cute little mystery featuring the hospital chaplain, Reverend Lindsay Harding…a little humor mixed in. Cute.
The Red Letter Life: 17 Words from Jesus to Inspire Simple, Practical, Purposeful Living by
Bob Hostetler—–Very informative, thought provoking and helpful…I would recommend this book for anyone what is looking to simplify their daily understanding of the Bible and how to apply it easily to daily living….
The Ghost Next Door by Ginny Baird – Cute love story, with a surprising ending. Creepy and surprising in a good way. I would recommend this love story for one who is looking to read something different.
